ABSTRACT

School refusal is a clinical condition where a child is reluctant or completely refuses going to school. Various precipitating factors might play a role in emergence of school refusal and it could be encountered in every socioeconomic background. In this article, the clinical features and treatment process of a female case with a severe school refusal behavior due to primary insomnia were discussed while aiming to review the relevant literature within this context.
