ABSTRACT
This study aimed to evaluate randomized controlled and other (pilot, open trial, and feasibility) studies based on internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) with children and adolescents between 2012-2022. The literature search carried out in this context was carried out in English in three electronic databases: Web of Science, Pubmed, and Eric. In the study in which the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) flow chart was used, a total of 26 studies, including 13 randomized studies and 13 others, were examined in detail. As a result of the study, it has been seen that ICBT is a practical treatment approach for anxiety disorder, obsessivecompulsive disorder, insomnia, depression, suicide attempt/suicidal ideation, functional abdominal pain, functional dyspepsia, chronic fatigue, and chronic pain. Technology-assisted treatments are of great importance in protecting mental health. In this context, ICBT is a promising approach that could increase the usability of cognitive-behavioral therapy for psychiatric disorders and other clinical problems.
